Subject: Colleges in Atlanta with good science programs?
Question: I am planning to apply to Georgia State University as a transfer student (college sophomore) to complete my bachelors, majoring in chemistry. Are there any other good schools in Atlanta that I should consider? Hmm, other than Emory. I simply cannot afford Emory, even with financial aid and HOPE.

Emory University. Obviously.

Georgia Tech is among the very best in the world.
My friend is planning on transferring to Georgia State University from Virginia Commonwealth University. So I would say stick with Georgia State, it is in Downtown Atlanta, but it is a very good school! I mean who would transfer from a VA school all of the way to Georgia State University.
